Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances may change, and we have put in place a policy to ensure that our students are fairly refunded or accommodated should they need to withdraw or transfer their class.

For our General Language Classes:

  • If you submit a written withdrawal request prior to the start of the class, 75% of your tuition fees will be refunded.
  • If you submit a written notice within three days after the first assigned class, 50% of your tuition fees will be refunded.
  • If you wish to transfer your full tuition to a future session, a written request must be submitted 48 hours prior to the start of the course. Full group course deferrals are decided on a case-by-case basis.
  • We cannot consider any refunds after the second week of classes, and there will be no retroactive refunds for missed classes.
  • Please note that our returning student promo code applies only when purchasing the full session, and there will be no refunds on books. All requests must be submitted to languages@ihvancouver.com.

For our Private Lessons:

  • We have a no refund policy in place, but in case you are unable to attend private classes anymore, we will provide a refund for any missed classes.

Prorated Tuition

We understand that sometimes unexpected events may cause you to miss some classes, such as travel or work obligation.

If you are aware of these in advance at the time of registration, we may be able to reduce the price for the specific classes you will be missing. To do so, please inform us of the dates you will be absent, and we will update our Student Class List in Google Classroom accordingly.

Please note that prorating is only possible by phone or in person, and cannot be done when registering on our website. We would also like to remind you that prorating does not qualify for any discounts.

Private Lessons

We offer private lessons for adults and kids.

  1. a) Individual lessons: 60 minutes for $55 plus tax for
  2. b) Package: 10 hours for

1 student is 450 dollars plus tax

2 students 500 dollars plus tax (250 dollars per Student)

Students can register for private lessons over the phone or in person (not online).

Cancelation Policy For Private Lessons: 24 hour notice

Refund Policy on Books

Please kindly note that the cost of books is not included in the tuition fee.

The prices of the books vary between $40 to $90, depending on the language. It is worth mentioning that one book is used for several levels, depending on the language.

 

Lastly, please be advised that there is a no-refund policy on books.
