Module 1 comprises 10 units, which include a review unit and a verb table, spanning a total of 152 pages. Throughout the module, students engage in writing, speaking, listening, and reading exercises that emphasize communication skills.
By the completion of Module 1, students will have developed the language proficiency necessary to engage in various social situations. They will possess the ability to introduce themselves, place orders at restaurants, make general purchases, initiate and respond to greetings, ask for directions, express personal preferences, and discuss future plans.
The accompanying CD complements the module by providing audio resources such as the nine main dialogues, pronunciation assistance, a collection of review “dialoguitos,” and songs that are featured in nearly every unit.
